Objective: To examine the anatomical and functional aspects of zinc in the circadian system.
Summary: Neither enhancement nor chelation of free zinc at either the SCN or IGL altered circadian responses to phase-shifting light in hamsters.

J Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone Syst 21(2):1470320320919607. doi: 10.1177/1470320320919607 PMID: 32370637
Objective: To assess the renal expression of angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R), angiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2R), and MAS receptor in human type 2 diabetic nephropathy (DN).
Summary: Renal expression levels of AT1R increase during the early stages of DN, ARB reducing AT1R while increasing MAS receptor. Therefore, ARB should be used as soon as possible in patients with DN.
Usage: Immunohistochemistry

Objective: To investigate whether abnormal expression of central wnt/β-catenin signaling and renin-angiotensin system (WNT-RAS signaling) was tightly involved in chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Summary: These data suggest that the central WNT-RAS signaling plays a significant role in the development and progression of CKD.
