Objective: To analyze the cardiac hypertrophy phenotype and the classical and alternative RAS axes in the myocardium of mice submitted to swimming exercises of varying volume and intensity for the development of cardiac hypertrophy.

Summary: Increasing exercise volume and intensity did not induce a pathological hypertrophy phenotype, but instead improved the oxidative capacity, and this process might have the participation of the RAS alternative axis.

Usage: Incubation at 4°C with anti-AT1R diluted in TTBS buffer with 5% non-fat 220 milk 1:800).

Objective: To investigate the underlying mechanisms of STAT3 activation by angiotensin II and downstream functional consequences in the kidneys.

Summary: This study reveals a novel mechanism of STAT3 activation, induced by angiotensin II, in kidney tissues and highlights a translational significance of a STAT3 inhibitor as potential therapeutic agent for hypertensive kidney disease.
