Zizimin1, also known as DOCK9 (dedicator of cytokinesis 9), is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that activates Cdc42, a member of the Rho family of GTPases. Through activation of Cdc42, Zizimin1 regulates processes such as cell polarity, gene expression, cell cycle progression, and cell-cell interactions.
