Thursday in Reggello. Antonella (Gino’s wife and co-host of place I am staying) drove me to Simply Market to get some groceries. She introduced me to her friends that own a bar right down from the train station. They also have a taxi and speak some English. I treated her to a cappuccino. Maria, her friend, put a smiley face in the foam on mine. 🙂 Very nice. I had almost thought I might move to a hotel. It seems so remote from everything, but I will think about that some more. Now that I know who to call and have groceries, and got much sleep, I feel better this morning. The stone steps to the apartment are still a bear, but I can manage.
