Summary: A boronic acid-rich dendrimer was employed to deliver proteins with different isoelectric points (pIs) and molecular weights into the cytoplasm. Various proteins, such as bovine serum albumin (BSA), beta-galactosidase enzyme, and toxic proteins (saporin, ribonuclease A and trypsin), were transduced into the cells and retained their bioactivity.
